Welcome to the Pelzer United Recreation Page.
The Pelzer United Recreation program is a volunteer fun led program for ages 3-18 designed to foster a love and passion for soccer in a structured and supportive environment, ensuring that every player, regardless of their skill level, feels welcome and valued.
There are two seasons a year. The first season starts in August/September and ends in November the second season starts in February and ends in April.
Pelzer United Soccer Club will participate in the United FC Furman Developmental League and the CESA Developmental League.
U5/U6 games will be played at Bill Hopkins Field in Pelzer on Fridays.
U8, U10, U12, U15 and U19 games will be played on Saturdays in Greenville.

Beginning with the 2026-2027 seasonal year, Pelzer United Soccer Club will be moving to a school year calendar age grouping method for the Recreation program. Age groups will change from being formed by January 1-December 31 birth year to an August 1-July 31 age grouping based on school grade.

U5/U6 will practice once a week and play games on Fridays at Bill Hopkins Field in Pelzer.
U8, U10 and U12 will practice twice a week and play games on Saturdays in the United FC Furman Developmental League. Games will be played at Westside Park in Greenville.
U15 and U19 will practice twice a week and participate in the CESA Developmental League. Games will be played on Saturdays at MeSA Soccer Complex or Wenwood Soccer Complex.

Pelzer United has a Facebook page that will give updated information about field closings. Click here to follow our Facebook account. Also contact your coach for field status.
Rec Uniforms can be purchased through the ACD sports website. Orders will be mailed to player’s address when ordered. Order time can vary.

Shin guards and cleats are required for all practices and games.

We are heading toward creating an in-house league for our Recreational Teams for the Spring 2025 season. First, this will only be for the U8 boys, U10 boys, and U12 boys age groups. The locations of the in-house program will be Herdklotz Park, Westside Park, and the Crocs Center.
Our other age groups (U15 boys, U8 girls, U10 girls, U12 girls, U15 girls) will remain playing games at the Mesa soccer complex.
There is a place to make requests in the registration form. We will do our best to accommodate requests but cannot make any guarantees.
